Education
I have completed a double degree at the Curtin University of Technology, namely a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering, with Honors. I am currently completing a Diploma of Education for secondary education with a major in Chemistry and a minor in Mathematics.
Experience
I have been working as a tutor for the past 4 years, providing additional academic support to students in high school science and chemistry, as well as chemistry at the first-year university level of study. I enjoy passing my knowledge in chemistry and mathematics on to others. In addition to this, I am very enthusiastic about teaching and love sharing my passion for these subjects with students. While completing my undergraduate chemistry degree I was an A student who often helped my peers develop their understanding of various topics for our courses. I am good at taking abstract ideas and concepts and making them accessible to others. When I was in the final year of my engineering degree, I was the recipient of a prize for my thesis which focused on the design of an LNG regasification plant with an incorporated air separation facility.
