I hold a PhD in Statistics and a master's level degree in Finance from Stanford University. During my five years at Stanford I taught more than ten statistics and probability courses. After graduation, for more than a decade, I have been working in the financial industry focusing on projects pertaining to data mining, time series analysis, computational statistics, Bayesian statistics, financial engineering and risk management. Equally importantly, I have tutored students and business professionals in all areas of statistics and quantitative finance for the last seven years.
