Education
I have first class honours degree in mathematics, and a PhD in mathematics from the same university, the University of Western Australia. I finished my PhD in 1996. I also have a Masters degree in information Technology from the University of South Australia, that I completed later, in 2005.
Experience
I've been giving private tuition since I was an undergraduate. After completing my PhD, I worked as a lecturer in mathematics and computer science for ten years in Malaysia. When I returned to Perth, I took up a job as a mathematician in the oil and gas industry. I've been giving private tuition in my spare time since 2010. I really enjoy tutoring, I love the feeling of seeing young people grasp difficult topics, and watching the boost in their confidence that follows.
