Experienced at tutoring high school students, I can teach math and science at the elementary, middle, and high school levels, including physics and chemistry. Students often find these subjects difficult, but can learn them with the right approach to teaching as well as with encouragement and positive feedback. I start by assessing each individual student's understanding of a topic or concept. Then I create a personalized study plan that lets me work alongside the student to address any misconceptions, difficulties, or trepidations. I tailor one-on-one sessions to their learning style and areas of interest, so that the topic is accessible and relevant. Topic coverage can be extended to further help in understanding it so that a student is better able to stay focused on their goals.
