Experience
I am a business journalist at a Western Australian news source, where I write about the economics and mining industries. While studying Economics at university, I was the president of the student union. My team introduced competition into campus catering and repaired the budget. I really enjoy economics and I am looking forward to tutoring it. Back at university, I scored the top mark in first and second-year microeconomics. In high school, I finished as a finalist in a state-wide economics competition. I can keep students focused as they work on their skills and knowledge, whether they need to improve their grasp of the basics or they'd like to explore more advanced applications of the concepts they are learning in class. I can answer questions, as well as observe as they work to identify misunderstandings.
