Richard d.
Private tutor in Perth, Australia
Education
I have a Bachelor of Arts in Japanese. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Environmental Biology with Honours. I also hold a Diploma of Education in Japanese and Science.
Experience
I teach Japanese, as well as the full range of environmental science subjects, from cell biology and physiology to ecology and sustainability. I have worked as an environmental consultant for more than eight years. I worked in a variety of fields, from aquatic ecology to rehabilitation and mine compliance. I have spent a large portion of my time working out in the field and the laboratory and can teach good practices for both. Through my guidance, students can make progress towards their goals. Recently I left my full-time career to follow my passion for teaching. I have lived overseas a few times, either studying the language or helping the local community through some charity work. I completed half of my Japanese degree in Japan studying at Wakayama University.
