I graduated from Murdoch University with a degree in Mathematics and Statistics with a minor in English Literature. I also have a post-graduate Diploma of Education from UWA. Finally, I hold a valid Working with Children Check and National Police Clearance.
Experience
I enjoy tutoring because I find it rewarding seeing students prosper and thrive from acquiring a deeper understanding of the material they're studying in school! I've had extensive experience tutoring primary, secondary and tertiary students in tutoring centres and privately. Currently, I teach mathematics at a top private boys college and take my own private students. My students are very diverse in terms of age, ability, and direction that they want to head, such as getting great NAPLAN or university scores or simply improving their understanding of core concepts. I am very flexible in terms of the content of tutoring during study sessions. Most students come to me for help in just one subject. Further down the track if they have any minor issues in another area of school such as essay writing in History, I can help them as I have good knowledge of English. My patience, ability to explain concepts in many ways, and friendly attitude mean my students always have the confidence to ask me any question. My motto is "no question is too silly to ask!".
