I hold a Bachelor of Civil and Construction Engineering with First Class Honours from Curtin University.
Experience
I have experience tutoring both professionally and privately. I tutored in Structural Analysis and Structural Design in the Engineering Clinics at Curtin University from 2012 to 2013. I worked 1-on-1 with first-year engineering students, primarily focusing on math and engineering mechanics concepts. In addition, I privately tutored second and third-year civil engineering students in Structural Analysis, Concrete Design, Steel Design, and Geotechnical Engineering. I am passionate about teaching and enjoy helping students in their studies. I am mostly teaching and tutoring most of the civil engineering units, as well as some high school-level subjects. I can get students feeling motivated as they build their problem-solving skills throughout each study session. Through ongoing experiences of success, my students can build the confidence they need to reach for their educational goals. We can go over homework and class assignments, as well as work together to prepare for tests.
