Schonen Guten Tag! I'm Jens, a 34-year old German and English teacher, who recently moved to Perth. After completing my master's degree in German as a Foreign Language, I accumulated a total of three years of experience teaching German and about six months teaching English. Before I came to Australia, I was teaching German to people young and old in Russia, Mexico, and Taiwan. Now I'm keen to see whether the Australians are as enthusiastic and keen to learn my native tongue as my previous students. I'm also a certified translator for German, English, Spanish, and French, but I find teaching languages is a lot more fun and rewarding! It's not only about the language, but about intercultural exchange. I am located in Leeming, but I could come to your place for tutoring if it's not too far away. We could also meet in a cafe or a library with adequate facilities. I would prefer a session length of at least one and a half hours. I can teach all levels, from absolute beginners to semi-proficient speakers of German. What I'll teach you depends entirely on your needs. Do you want to learn German just for fun? For school? To travel? To go work in Germany? Do you have a German boyfriend or girlfriend? I'm pretty flexible at the moment, so just tell me what day and time would suit you best and I'll see what I can do. Weekends are possible as well.
