Experience
I have been a high school teacher for 35 years teaching History, English and Literature to years 8 through to years 12 (WACE). Many of my students have completed successful graduate and postgraduate degrees and many of the younger one are studying for their degrees. The students are spread across all the campuses of the universities in Perth. Others have gone on to do amazing things with their lives, one has just begun a Rhodes scholarship and I like to keep In touch with them whenever I can. Tutoring is a way of being able to keep contact with students and subjects as I enter the last few years of my own academic life. I am at present mid way through a PhD and hope to combine study, academic life and family concerns.
