I have earned several different degrees and certifications, including a Graduate Certificate in Tertiary Education from Deakin University in Melbourne, Australia, a master's in Medieval and Early Modern Studies at the University of Western Australia in Perth, a master's in Cultural Heritage from Deakin University, a Post-Graduate Diploma in Museum Studies at Deakin University, English as a Foreign Language certification from The London Teacher Training College UK, and a BA in Classics and Archaeology from Open University UK.

Experience

I have over 10 years of international experience teaching English as a foreign language and tutoring children and adults. Everyone learns best in a fun, positive, and interactive environment. Feeling good about their achievements will help students grow in confidence and results will follow. I am a friendly, approachable, and reliable individual who is available to tutor students between the ages of 5 and 17 online in the following subjects: English, history, reading, writing, and successful study skills. I also tutor adults and teach ESL to all ages. My lessons include written exercises, mock tests, and educational games. I also assign every student homework to keep them thinking and learning until our next meeting.

Hobbies

I am friendly, approachable, reliable and really enjoy teaching and helping people to understand a subject fully. I also enjoy theatre, photography, archaeology and fencing (foil). I LOVE to study and am currently completing my PhD in Medieval Archaeology. I am also studying the Italian language and Psychology.
