Hi, my name is Sijie Liang. In Chinese, 粱思捷 Liáng Sījié. Currently in my 3rd Year at Curtin University studying Chinese Language and Asian Studies.
Experience
I am very approachable, outgoing and willing to share my language knowledge. I worked as an English teacher's aid for two months as at a Taiwanese primary school last year for a student volunteering organisation. Living in Taiwan was a great opportunity to learn and practice my Chinese in a real Chinese-language environment. I plan to study further, work and live in Taiwan at some point in the future. I've been studying Mandarin for the past three years, formally for the past two at Curtin University. I'm very passionate about the language, I try to intensify my learning process by practicing daily and absorbing as much vocabulary and language specifics as possible. I can help improve your Chinese up to at least an Intermediate level if you are somewhat familiar with the language or at a beginner's level. If you have not yet studied the language, but you are very interested, I can help you get established with the basics. If you are currently studying Chinese, I can help you gain confidence in your communication skills. Many students that I encounter have problems with verbal communication and listening comprehension more so than the written aspect.
