Experience

I have tutored for eight years and have extensive experience as a high school English teacher, both in Perth and overseas. I can work with students across a variety of subjects, such as British Literature, ESL, persuasive writing, and reading and writing for grades 9 through 12. Throughout each session, my focus is on my student's needs. I adjust my teaching methods to provide the maximum support to their learning tendencies, whether they benefit more from visual cues or in-depth discussion. I have a thorough understanding of the concepts and can break them down into bite-size pieces of information. If my student has trouble with their homework, I can provide assistance to help them work through it.
