I earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering with Upper Second Class Honors and a Master of Science degree in Project Management, both from Curtin University. I scored 8.5 on my IELTS.
Experience
My educational background in engineering and project management has given me knowledge of a diverse array of topics, allowing me to tutor subjects such as elementary math, public speaking, English grammar, and writing. I am most passionate about helping students develop their oral communication skills. Many students find talking difficult, but a jolt of self-confidence could be all it takes for them to approach it like a pro. Since I've been trained to think like an engineer, I can approach abstract concepts through their real-world applications to make them more relatable to students. Likewise, project management is a field that's all about putting academic knowledge to practical use, so I can always answer the question, "but when will I ever use this?".
