Education
I am a member of the Golden Key International Honours Society and have completed a double degree in maths and stats, achieving a WAM of 92, a GPA of 6.69, high distinctions in over 85 % of the units. Finishing top student I was awarded two faculty medals for outstanding achievement. Of the 30 years since graduating high school I have studied at undergraduate or postgraduate level for about 15 years. I love study; achieving a BSc (Hon) in Chemistry, BSc (H Distinction) in Maths/Stats and finished top 3% in UWA Physics.
Experience
I have been tutoring maths, physics and chemistry to high school and tertiary students for the past four years. Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics is my passion and I would like to share my passion with the world. I would like to do this formally as a teacher and hence need complete a Grad Dip Ed ( Secondary). During study I developed techniques to achieve outstanding results, obtaining 100% for numerous units. A student of mine has just been awarded DUX of Carey Baptist college. His ATAR should be around 99.9 with methods and specialist scaling. I took him for specialist, methods, chemistry and physics and these subjects were used in this ATAR. He has qualified for entry into a medical degree at UWA. I thrive at the prospect of helping my students achieve excellence.
