I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Sworn, Technical, and Literary Translation (Spanish<>English) from Universidad de Belgrano in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Experience
I've been tutoring English and Spanish since 2011, instructing children and adults of all levels. I adjust my lessons to fit the individual needs of each student. For instance, we might focus on conversational phrases if a pupil is preparing for a trip to Madrid, or verb tenses could be emphasized to help students prepare for an upcoming quiz. I am also comfortable tutoring online or in-person as required by the student. I'm a professional translator for IT companies, law firms, and other businesses during the day, so I'm constantly practicing both English and Spanish. I am comfortable teaching all levels of both languages, including standardized test prep for exams such as the TOEFL, AP Spanish Literature and Culture, and SAT Subject Test in Spanish.
