My background in engineering and my past experience in tutoring students in mathematics would help immensely in becoming a successful tutor. I found my previous tutoring experience to be pretty fulfilling as I got to help kids reach their full potential. I feel that by being a tutor it has allowed me to develop the ability to explain concepts/ideas to someone who doesn't have the background knowledge on the topic and I've found the skill to be extremely useful in any kind of setting whether that be in the workplace or just everyday life.
