Education

I am an accredited tutor and I am endorsed by the Australian Tutoring Association, my accreditation number is AU6671540. I graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Accounting and Finance from UWA with a GPA of 6.75. I was awarded the UWA Graduates Association Prize in Commerce in my second year, which is awarded annually to the student with the highest average mark in the second year of Commerce. I completed WACE in 2009 with a TER of 99.90. I received a General Exhibition which is awarded to the top 40 students over five subjects. The subjects I studied are Physics, Chemistry, Applicable Maths, Calculus, Economics, and Literature.

Experience

I first started tutoring after I had finished high school and have continued to do so regularly for the last 3 to 4 years. I have extensive experience tutoring high school Maths as well as Accounting and Finance at the undergraduate level. I am an accredited tutor, endorsed by the Australian Tutoring Association (ATA). I was a study assistant at a learning institute for two years, teaching students of various ages, backgrounds and levels. I was also a PASS (Peer Assisted Study Sessions) Leader for a first year Commerce unit at UWA for two semesters. I thoroughly enjoyed both these roles as well as the private tutoring work I have done. Tutoring is my passion. I am constantly refining my tutoring skills and approaches and have full confidence that I can motivate all students to achieve their academic goals. I look forward to working with you!

Hobbies

I love playing and watching sport, especially AFL, Cricket and Tennis. I think going out and playing a sport and keeping reasonably fit is an extremely important part of living a balanced lifestyle. I like to catch up with mates, see a movie every now and then and enjoy a good BBQ on the weekend!
